This is so crazy. I did not realize that doom was made into a movie and the most amazing thing about the movie is that it is taken from the same perspective as playing the game. I have been quite amazed by the popularity of "The War by Ken Burns" DVD Box set. Directed by Ken Burns and Lynn Novick, The War DVD box set, contains 6 DVDs and was release in October 2007. Thus highly acclaimed World War II series was first aired in September 2007 on PBS as a 7 part series. The appeal seems to be mainly to the older generation but at the same time Ken has succeeded in bringing boring history back to life to the younger generation through real stories of people living during that time.
