DVD Scams
Our family have received a lot of calls
from angry customers of certain DVD shippers on the Internet who have cleverly manipulated their support
systems so that complaints and abuse are directed at our site. They have shirked responsibility
to their customers and set up legitimate DVD sites (like ours) to take the
fall. This page will hopefully help protect the consumer and also clear our site
name.
NOTE:

The DVD Box industry needs to be cleaned
up. We suspect that the FTC will soon implement
regulations to protect consumers from unscrupulous vendors shipping pirated DVDs from China (and
not telling you that this is what they are doing before your order). Make sure there is phone contact
information from vendors you order from, otherwise there is a high chance you are ordering low quality,
cheap, copied (often recorded directly from a television) DVDs from China. Also do a
search of the company name at ripoffreport.com to see if there are any complaints against the company
- before you order.

we have answered each claim made falsely against us.

We are getting a lot of order
enquiries from people who ordered from a site with a similar
name to us, THEY ARE NOT US. We have no S
on our domain name we are
called tvdvdboxset.com
. It appears that they are referencing our website
name tvdvdboxset on their copyright notice so as to direct customer queries to
us (NB all our order emails come directly and
safely from Amazon). In addition they provide no
phone or email address contact information on their website other than a web
form. Unfortunately, as a result we are wrongfully receiving order inquires that should be directed to them and not to tvdvdboxset.com . We are
just as angry as you are. Your only option for support from these people as far as we can tell is to contact them through their contact us web
form. Also you can search ripoffreport.com to see other options you can take if you get no
support from them.
All we
want to do is set the record straight and we just
ask everyone to please check your facts before judging our site.
