Fire), where do I return it? I have a defective Blu-Ray disc (Harry Potter and the Gobblet of Fire), where do I return it?. I bouth it from Circuit City about two months ago but it wasn't until two days ago when I unwrapped it and found out it did not play on my PS3. The store wouldn't take it back because it's past the 30 days from purchase. How do I return it to Warner Brothers for a functional disc. I tried to look into their web page but there is not information available there. The Blu-Ray does not have any return or warranty information on it.

Good question.  Most places won't accept a return, even for an exchange, without a receipt proving you bought it from them.  While I can understand Circuit City's policy governing refunds, it makes little sense to alienate customers when all you're looking for is an exchange.

You might try Circuit City again, this time getting someone with a little more customer service intelligence, or if necessary, getting Store Management involved to help you.

Failing that, you might try a difference Circuit City hoping that they'll honor each others' purchases.

And after that, you might try Best Buy if you explain the poor customer service provided by Circuit City.  They may accommodate you on the sole basis of Word of Mouth advertising for them and against Circuit City.

But don't count on intelligence from ANY of them.  I've watched companies spend MILLIONS of dollars each year in advertising to get customer business, and then when they have it, they throw the customers back out the door, and then complain about how customers are going to the competition.
